There are several ways to invite people to join. You can
- send an invite to their email through the project admin, or
- copy the project's URL from the project admin and include it in your own email to the prospective members.
There are pros and cons to both:
- By inviting through the project admin's "send an invite" button, you get the benefit of Consortio tracking the prospective member's connection to your project. Until they become a full member, you'll see them on your admin's member list as a "pending invite" and can remind them of the invite down the road. That said, the email you send them through Consortio isn't customizable.
- By just including the project URL in your own email, you can customize your message. The downside, though, is that Consortio cannot track those who join within your project admin, so you won't get notifications (e.g. "pending invite") like you would if you invite through the project admin.
